Project:
This assignment was a class project where we had to create a kit for a specific issue. I chose food deserts and created a kit that promotes and educates people on food deserts. This kit also empowers and creates change within communities to address the issue of food deserts.
The kit includes a free vegetable or fruit plant and a seed packet. It also includes an informational packet with additional resources. These will be distributed at grocery stores or food banks at a table in the front of the store. Social media posts and the website will be additional ways to promote the cause.
