Project Summary
Food deserts restrict access to fresh, affordable produce and leave many communities without the knowledge or resources to address the issue. Pots 2 Plants is an academic design project that addresses this issue. The project centers around distributing kits that include a pot, seeds, and educational materials that will be distributed at grocery stores and food banks, making the issue visible while empowering communities to take small, actionable steps toward improving food access. The website and social media raise additional awareness and funding addressing the issue of food insecurity.
